Intake Issues?

dont use the rubber thingys, use a TON of rtv, and dont just run it on the block, run it up onto the heads a good way to ensure a proper seal. let it sit overnight before starting it too to give the rtv a chance to cure. If you do that it definetly shouldnt leak.

Yup, when I bougt my crate 350 from GM, the counter guy said to ditch the "wall of china" rubber gaskets and use a nice big bead of black RTV, and to overlap the intake-to-head gaskets at the ends of the RTV beads. So, that's what I did, worked for me. He said those rubber gaskets are crap and that they'll either leak right away, or leak later.

Thats exactly what I did, I hucked the rubber "wall of china" and used black RTV, but I guess I didn't use enough on the back of the block.
