Interesting H2O pump

I doubt "just like that" as they are touting it as a new pump. Perhaps something similar though. However, none of the current options that I am aware of are intended to be the continous duty primary engine cooling pump in an automobile. They may be a coolant pump or they may be continous duty, but not both together. If you know of a pump that is both I'd like a link to it.
 
Rotary Valve

Pretty simple just a hole in the shaft to let the mixture in and the exhaust out. A machine shop in town ran a few engines here about 12 years ago but for some reason couldn't get them to stay together.
 
Might be OK for a cruise since those cars rarely go more than a couple miles at a time, but I highly doubt it will hang driving across Nevada in the summer. I'd want to see some MTBF testing numbers b4 I'd commit to using one.
