Ok my interior is out while I fix some cracks in the floor. So now is the time to run stuff that would go under the carpet. Was thinking about some sort of accessories port on the center console... Maybe.

Any ideas? 91 K5

In addition to any accessories you might wanna run I would recommend some Dynamat, or other sound\ thermal barrier. Did it to mine, made a world of difference. :waytogo:

Interesting thought. I already dumped the rear rug and back seat. Went with a heavy gauge truck bed liner mat and no insulation under it. Back might sound like a giant empty tin can now. Heck the damn tires howl so much not so sure insulation would make much of a difference.

My biggest fear is does the insulation retain moisture?

I'd go Al's Liner product HNR (Heat and Noise Reducer) under a liner product (like rhino liner or Al's has their own liner product) as opposed to Dynamat. Unless you want the most noise reduction, AND to top it with carpet specifically. HNR and liner in the cargo area, dynamat and carpet in the front.

While all that stuff is out, there's nothing you'd need to run, unless you want to run power back there for something. power outlets, USB outlets, speaker wires, etc. All that wiring could come out of the floor (rear cargo passenger seat floor) up to the walls.
