The sled pulling crowd does get these engines to the 2000hp area, but takes a lot of cubic dollars. Realistically, it'll take 600hp easily.
The 5" of difference is a big difference when stuffing it in a pickup. The 466 is freakishly big to be putting in a pickup, I tried it a couple years ago. A decent fit in a Sooper Duty if you're looking at swapping out a powerstroke, and dont mind making a new firewall & floorboard.
