International Loadstar

International Trucks
The tires are 11-22.5 on steel 22.5 x 8.25 stud(budd) pilot wheels. Everything looks like it will fit well from measurements. Saturday, i will grab a set of tire irons from HF and mount the two steer tires.

11-22.5 tires, 6 good traction tires on wheels, 1 spare traction tire on wheel, one bad tire on wheel, and two steer tires without wheels.

In other dump truck shenanigans, my friend bought a 1964 Loadstar 1600 4x4 with a small dump bed.

He found a dump bed of the correct size for the truck so we made a quick road trip between Christmas and new years to grab it.

Last week I removed the small bed to get ready to install the new one.

Cool!

I had to look at the short bed truck you have for sale in the pics. I really like that one, reminds me of the 78 I had years ago.

Is the roll bar in that K10 for sale?

I can’t decide which one I like better, although that loadstar is super cool. I think I see a transfer case under there, that put it’s over the top.

I dare ask, how is finding parts for those internationals?

Going at it all wrong my friend, go for the whole truck. Take the roll bar and I’ll keep the rest.

Parts are available, just more expensive on the bigger trucks. International used their own plus GM, Ford, and Dodge parts to build their trucks so it is just a matter of figuring out what you need. Getting a new windshield for my Cargostar is unlikely though. The Loadstar on the other hand will be easy to find.
