Hello all-I have an '83 K10 6.2/700R4/208. It is all original except for doing a wood-floored step-side bed swap and exchanging the C-code intake for a 6.5 intake (it made much more difference than I had expected).

I also have an '86 M1009 6.2/TH400/208 in a perpetual state of disrepair. It also is all stock, except for installing a 40/60 split bench in front.

This site has already been a great help in evaluating project options. Thanks to all for posting your information. I look forward to contributing my .02.

1973 Blazer

My friend asked me to find him a 73-75 K-5 Blazer

Took 2 days 100 miles away

Drove it home $1600.00

Runs perfect

Are They normally harder to find ?

For Sale: 1973 Chevy Blazer K-5 Cheyenne Edition. Same model that Sheriff Brody drove in Jaws!

All original drivetrain including 4-bolt 350 (edelbrock carb and intake), 350 turbo transmission, 203 transfer case, 12 bolt rear, Dana 44 front. Truck drove very well but was parked outdoors several years ago. Needs new steering box. Body has rusting in all the typical spots and needs work. All panels are available through aftermarket. Interior is in pretty good shape. Top of truck comes completely off from windshield back. Original Fiberglass top included and in good shape.

There are still TONS of aftermarket parts available for these trucks. I had some big ideas about doing a frame-off resto , but never got around to it. . .

New from Missouri

Hi, my name is Tim. I am starting up my own side business Extreme Fabrication. I fab and design parts for about any one needing something. Have built and raced racecars, go karts, trailer accessories, trailers. I am also a CAD operator at my current job. I am certified mig and tig welder, in aluminum, steel and stainless steel. I am going to start building parts for my burb and for anyone else that might need parts for them.
I am located in Missouri. I bought a suburban about 6 months ago, that had several things done to it already. It is a 1/2 ton that has 3/4 ton axles under it. It has 14 bolt rear axle with 4:10 gears and dana 60 front with 4:10 gears. Has 3" lift kit.
Have several more upgrades I plan on doing to it. Will have write ups on it I plan on doing.
More to come later.

Hi all! My name is Chris and I'm here in good ole Louisiana. I stumbled upon an 86 gmc jimmy for $1000! Freshly rebuilt transfer case and the best par to the buy I found out later. Ran the casting numbers and it is a 1972 gen1 lt1 Bette engine. And man does it scream and pull. I work as a restauraunt manager so I have very little time to work on the "dude truck" as my 5 year old calls it. Started off stock and on 31's. It now has transformers slowly but surely into a good looking machine! The wife even likes it! Look forward to meeting you guys now that I joined and stopped creeping!

Hi everyone,
My name is Adam, I'm not currently an owner of a K5 but am in the market. Need to sell one of my other toys first. I'll be looking for either 73-75, a diesel or 87-91 TBI.
Wish me luck in my search.

Thanks

Hey guys, I'm Chris and I'm in Virginia Beach, I don't currently own a blazer, but I'm in the process of buying an 88 K5 Silverado. It is all original with 131k on it and very little rust. It is starting to get body rot on the kicker panels though, so they'll need work. What do y'all think?

Hola. I figured I'd quit lurking and get on board. I just traded a sucker nose Commando for a 68 K10 long box. Beauty being skin deep, I'm running the same drivetrain as ya'll. PO lifted it 4". Along the way it lost the 292 for a 250. Looking for a suitable sbc for upgrade, preferably fuel injected for the altitude. I just pulled closed knuckle front end for 10b out of 82 K10 for discs. Swapping in power booster as well.
