Introductions & Greetings

Welcome to CK5, stop in and say hello, this is a great place to make your first post and tell us a little about yourself/truck. :D
Hello my name is Monty I'm from the Detroit area. I have a 1988 Blazer that I have been restoring, I also have a 1954 Chevy PU. I am looking forward to being a helpful member of your group, I work for GM and have been a truck loving person for as long as I can remember
Happy to be here

Welcome Monty! Nice rides!

Hey guys, Robby here! Glad to join, even though I'm not in Colorado I've learned a ton from all you guys.
I'm a Maryland boy, born and raised, living in Baltimore.
Here's a couple specs on the truck, I can't upload photos quite yet.

1990 Suburban V1500 (Now 2500)
350ci TBI Auto
Swap upgrade to 3/4 ton axles, 14BSF 8 lug
Longtubes with custom Ypipe and Flowmaster
255/75/17 Duratracs
Heavy duty suspension w/ 2" BDS lift

I'm looking forward to my near projects, TBI rebuild + some mods, Cowl hood install, electric fan swap (Which I think I have the wiring for, just need someone to check my diagram), and eventually going with the Edelbrock 3704. Thanks for welcoming me you guys, and if you have any input on what I might have going on, or need advice, hit me up!!

Robby

Long time listener....first time caller here! Been lurkin around for a year or so now gathering knowledge and ideas. Finally hit the point where I figured I should upgrade to the premium. I'm from Clovis Ca and I'm building my first K5. Bought then built a 2001 TJ before this and had a lot of old Chevy muscle cars growing up.

Not sure if I'm in the right place. New to the Blazer CULT. Bought a 1973 with 88,000 miles from second owner. Sat last 10 year in his shop. When I figure out how to get pictures in will do so. I live in North Dakota with long cold winters with nothing to do, so this will be a first frame off attempt.

New here and checking the site out. I have owned many K5'S over the years and finally found a very clean 78 K5 that I just bought. It is a 2wd wrecked in the front. Still trying to figure out the path I want to go with this one with either a lt4 or lsx. Give me a few days and I will upgrade and start a build thread on it.

Cool, a 2wd build thread!

Been trolling around here for a while but I've been too lazy to register until now. Not from Colorado and I don't have a K5 but what I do have should fit in here somewhere. I currently own an 85 crewcab, an 89 crewcab, 76 k20, and a 77 c20. All 4 need a lot of work but right now the c20 is getting all my attention. It already has a warmed up aluminum headed 468 with an Ultradyne roller cam and a few other goodies. I swapped in a NV4500 this fall that turned out to be junk so rather than going back to my th400 I decided to go crazy and swap in my reman 4x4 nv4500 with a 203/205 from NWF Dana 60 front, 52" springs in the front, and a shackle flip in the back. I plan on keeping the lift around 4" and doing a mild boatside and a ton of fender "trimming". I'll be starting a build thread soon and I am looking forward to getting to know all of you on here!
