Hello, new here. I am located in Centennial. I like being up in the mountains and getting away. I don't own a Chevy or a GM but the knowledge from here can be put towards my vehicle.

Thanks.

Hi, I just picked up an 85 Suburban K10 with the 6.2 diesel that spent the last five years in a field. I did drive it home and it's been my DD for the last week now, after changing the glow plugs and disconnecting the EGR. Now if I can make the vibration go away-

Hello

I'm from Bentonville, Arkansas and I am the proud owner of my second K5. The first was an 85 but she's been gone for ages. I just aquired an 86 that needs some TLC so my dad and I plan to get her in good running order again. I look forward to working\chatting with everyone and learning a lot along the way.:waytogo:

85 K20 6.2 Diesel

Just bought a 85 Silverado 3/4 ton with a 6.2 Detroit.

Truck is in decent shape but needs a little work to get it ready for the summer. Going to be putting a slide in camper on her and romping up some 4x4 roads in Colorado. If I don't blow my load fixin her up and can stay light enough on the peddle then I'm going to try and make it for Washington, but with gas prices going where they are, its not looking promising.

Anyways, Just going to be rolling around reading, probably don't have much posting to do because I'm pretty new to everything.

Forums look great, tons of posts and really good members! Look forward to reading!

Phil

Hi my name is Tim sr. I started this account for my son Tim jr who was given a 1991 chevy K5 blazer from my dad before he passed away from Cancer this january. Tim Jr aka Timmy is almost fifteen and has a year to get it ready.

I told him this was a good place to get ideas and to talk about k5s. his has a 4inch procomp lift and is otherwise stock.

I forgot our first modification is going to be to the front seats. any suggestions for aftermarkets seats that will work well without to much adjustments.

welcome Tim.. make sure to ask LOTS of questions in the Garage.. we have the answers.... :)
