Very first K5!
Yesterday, we traded an 1998 GMC Yukon for an 85 K5 Blazer. Super excited about a new toy to clean up, fix up. It has the 350 in it, new headers, Edlebrock carb and manifold, a new tranny, small lift, rolling on 35's. All that's really left is the fun stuff, paint and whatnot. Hubby wants to change up the exhaust in it, I suppose I could go for a bit more rumble! :-) The carpet is great in it. Think we need a new hardtop seal, washed it and water came in on the drivers side. :-) Funny thing is that somehow the key was broken off in the ignition so that is a bit interesting, will have to get that taken care of. I'm assuming that the ignition key is needed to put the window down from the tailgate, so for the moment we have to control the rear window from the inside switch. My kids call it "The Beast"
