Hi from South Alps in France, tryin' to save an old 79 K5 in fulltime version.
The previous owner changed the 305 for a 400 n° 3951511 from 1972 and add parts as carb, manifold and exhaust.
Runs great for the snowy mountain roads where i'm livin' :waytogo:
Please excuse my poor english, but i try to type and read without translator... but only a Converter of measures, not so easy sometimes!
Hope u will help me for technical terms!

Welcome aboard folks! :thumb:

Emile, you need 5 or more posts to be able to put up pics. When you can, post up some wheeling pics, I bet you've got amazing scenery.

Hello, my name is Sean and I am 24 years old, and I am new to CK5.com. I have a 1990 K5 Silverado edition and love this thing! I have had it for a few years now and have big plans for it. I recently have purchased some new axles, a GM Corporate 14 FF, and a Dana 44 with 8 lug outers. I also plan on doing crossover stearing and the leaf spring swap/rancho 9012 suspention upgrades for some mondo flex as well as custome bumpers and other do dads. I am mostly enjoy Snow/sand/rock wheeling and enjoy taking it out in the woods for some camping, fishing, and hunting with my wife, two sons, and my brothers.

Hello; new to this forum, but not new to forums in general or to the K5 world. Stumbled across this site while looking for a 1973-1975 Blazer. I'm in the MD/DC/VA area. I've owned dozens of Chevy trucks over the years. Nice to be here.
