Introductions & Greetings

Sayin' Hi Again,..

I thought I'd already said hello ya'll but apparently I must not have been logged in at the moment. But here's my official hello. New to this site yet and Im on almost daily. Owner of '87 K5 Custom Deluxe 305/SM465/NP208
the body is straight and is a prime candidate for a new paint job. Becoming a new owner of a K5 has thrown me into learning all I can about these beasts!!! I'm also already going after another '87 K5 Silverado 350/TH700/NP208. The tranny isn't working right in it, but I'm sure I'll figure out how to get it operable,($$$)!!! Ha!! But yea I'm glad for this site of all of you fellow Chev K5 Enthusiats!!! Lets Lock'em Up!!:waytogo:

whats up? my name is mat, i live in las vegas. ive always been a die hard chevyaholic, ive owned a few k10, k20s but being from new england they were always rust buckets. so when i moved to the dessert i picked up a rust free 89 v10 silverado 5.7 tbi 4 inch lift 35-12.5 yokohamas with factory 10 bolts. so far ive spent my time making it reliable and switched the gears to 456s along with replacing under the hood , sensors, relays, all the accesories. also did some tbi mods from cfm tecnologies, power plate, injector spacer, matched injectors, smoothed out the ridges on top. as of right now the truck runs like brand new and i wouldnt hesitate to drive it anywhere. ilove my k5!! next project is 3/4 ton axle swap and shackel flip.

Oh hell yea
mass is awesome
where do u off road where u are?

Most of the land I wheel with the club is in Western Mass. We have access to private wheeling land but there is a few public wheeling spots out there, that are in fact legal. There aint much where I am, pretty much have to travel about an hour to do any real wheeling.

Mass is awesome? Since when? :D

Welcome eastcoastmat !!!!

How's that for personalized service. :haha:

You'll find the general population ignores this section. Some of us check in here from time to time to give welcomes or answer questions, etc. I want everyone to know don't feel slighted if no one "welcomes" you in here. It is a fairly low traffic area of this site, at least for the regulars and long timers. :waytogo:

Hello Everyone!

I registered as a basic member a few months ago, but I'm in the process of upgrading now that I've been lurking for a while. (Anyone know a way to upgrade without crossing the paypal domain?)

I've got an 84 k10, 383, turbo 400, 44/12bolt with 6 and 3 for lift (bought it at age 16!)

My other square is a 1990 R2500 (or c20) Suburban, 6.2, 400, 14 bolt. All stock, 280K miles.

I've got big plans for the burb and the k10 needs a lot of TLC. I'll be on here trying to get input and ideas until I get back home from Afghanistan in May or June.

Hey guys, my name is Luke. I live outside of Amarillo, TX and wheel at one of the best backyard spots in the country, the canadian river. I have an 85 blazer on a 14 bolt rear, d60 front with 4" springs. 4.56 gears with a Detroit out back and welded front. It has a healthy 350, th400 and twin sticked 205. No top, no doors, full cage. Right now it's set up for mud with 40" implement v treads, but I crawl the bunny trails on occasion. Just added crossover steering, but still need hydro assist.

Just bought my first k5, a 1970. Love it. Had been looking for a first gen for about a year or so, and finally found one that met my criteria. Needs some work so I will definitely be looking through all the useful info on this site. Love what I have read so far the past few weeks. There is so much knowledge and tips I'll be interacting for years to come. Thanks in advance to all who make this site so useful.
