Hi, I've been using this site for helpful hints and finally decided to join. I live in East Texas and just recently bought my second K5. My original was a 1984 K5 Blazer that I had when I turned 16. I sold it to buy a new truck and have been kicking myself ever since. Finally, 10 years later, I found a 1985 GMC Jimmy that is completely rust free!!! It was to good to pass up, so I bought it. *Thanks Craigslist!!! Anyhow, I am working on restoring / modifying my new toy to what I have dreamed about for the last decade. I will be asking for advice and tips from all of you along the way and I hope to have a lot of fun along the way. Thanks for welcoming me and wish me luck.
