Introductions & Greetings

Hi all.

Northern midwest resident here. Firm roots in the Auto Industry and a long time Chevy fan. Too many hobbies and not enough time. I am an avid 4WD, Sportbike touring, and MTbike cycling fan. 7 year history in trail riding, mudding, minor rock work in Canuckada. 2 Jeeps, 1 Tahoe, 1 burban, 1 CK, A few other doodads.

Whereabouts in Michigan are ya? I'm assuming the Lower Peninsula...? :dunno:

Yea that was me. And that was a ton of fun. Gears are still working great lol but now I need a transmission or someone who can help me fix mine. Appears to be stuck in first gear. But if you guys need any help let me know. It's what I enjoy doing :waytogo:

I'm Mike from North Las Vegas. Have a 71 Blazer since we bought it new. 85,000 miles on her. 6 years ago had it repainted then home burned down and fire fighters weren't to kind to here as she was setting in carport. Scratched her all over but she was saved.

Hi folks,
I am about as new here as you can get, so sorry if I ask a few recurring questions. Dose anyone have a favorite body parts dealer? I need fenders and doors for my project, but I really don't want flimsy thin stuff. I live in Alaska and shipping is a killer for up here, so I am looking for the best I can get quality wise. As my Dad would say do it right or go sit on the porch with the dog.
Thanks "Doug"

Newbie from Canada.

Welcome! We have several 6.2 fans around here (including me ). You can read up on some of our 6.2 threads or simply start your own thread in the Garage or Driveway for asking questions about your new truck.

I wish i had an older model but this was the year i was born and have formed a bond with this ol girl. Shes got 245,000 km and a few issues im hoping i can learn how to fix on here.

Im living in edmonton, Alberta , Canada

the front clip is much cooler looking imo.. round headlights rule.... :pimp:

I was hoping to learn more about carbs as i have yet to work on them, this tbi has been so tricky in turn of getting it to stop running rich , but i beleive ive found the problem , a faulty o2 wire. Im not sure how to replace it yet as it dissapears into the loom. I dont mind so much but the gas milage is terrible haha.

hey i am new!! i am needing ideas on why my 87 gmc suburban with a 350 tbi is failing emissions on (nox) would appreciate any help thank you!!!

NOX comes from high combustion chamber temps typically.

Could be running lean. Not enough fuel, vac leaks, stuff like that.

EGR is there to cool down combustion temps. Check to see if it's working?
