Introductions & Greetings

Howdy Everyone!
This my first post so hopefully I won’t screw it up.
I just bought a 76’ K5 350/th350 from Arizona. I will try to attach a pic. There is very little rust and there are a few old modifications that I am going to do away with. Took it to my mechanic for a go over and everything was rock solid. I have changed all fluids and fixed drips and I am going to drive it for a while to see what I need to do. The paint is faded so I need to address that and I need new radio and speakers replaced with a decent system. I hope to get years of enjoyment from it. I have owned a couple over the years with thr first vehicle I ever purchased being a 77 Blazer back in 1978. Wish I had took care of that one but I wore it all the way out.

Hi and I am new here and my name is Ted. I drive a 1978 k5 with a 4 inch lift and 35s. It has a rebuilt 350 with a turbo 400 , and a 208 transfer case. I'm in the process of building a front and rear bumper for it . just wanted to thank you all for the add.

Welcome aboard!

87 k5 here. Picked it up a bit ago as a project. Our main project is a 66 c10 that we are doing a frame off, LS swap on bags laying frame!
Awesome... Start a build thread for that 66, would love to see that!

Hey yall. Have a 1982 GMC k3500 crew cab dually. 6.2 diesel/th400/np205/d60/d70hd drivetrain with a flatbed. Mixed use of daily driver, offroad toy, and tow rig

Howdy! This '79 K5 was my cousins (RIP Stuart). I acquired it from his mom after it sat under a shed for about 8 years. I found this place while looking for info, looks like solid community. I've gone through the fuel system and brakes in order to get it safety inspected/registered. The v8 is tired though and will get replaced with crate engine. Interior is pretty rough, was home to a herd of small rodents:eek: This will be a fun project to get back on the road/trail again. Cheers All :saweet:

Hey all! just bought a 1990 K5 Blazer! it sits on Dana 60 and 14 bolt with 4.11 gears. 52" front spring 63" in the back giving it about a 6" lift. currently running 37" Military OZ Goodyear tires. 350 V8 under the hood. Definitely needs some TLC but I look forward to fixing it up and learning from this truck.

Nice! Where are you in the bay?

Welcome to CK5, stop in and say hello, this is a great place to make your first post and tell us a little about yourself/truck. :D
Hey folks. Thanks for the add. Still trying to navigate the site. Will get better soon. I have an 84 k5 . It runs and drives but it's definitely a fixer upper. I'll start posting pictures of the progress soon. I'm a truck driver and don't get much time.
