Introductions & Greetings

Figured I'd post I here since I never have. Been a member since 2009, first/last posted in 2012. Didnt realize I have never posted in here...just been reading tons of info. I've owned a '76 K5, '82 K5, '85 K5, '85 GMC Longbed, and currently working on another '85 K5. This one won't leave the family!

Aloha from Hawaii. My last Chevy truck was a 79 Scottsdale, but I'm about to pull the trigger on a '84 Blazer (IF I can determine that I can retrofit a 3pt seatbelt on the rear bench for my son's booster seat).

You can put 3rd row suburban seats from what I understand. I have a 02 3rd row seat in the garage, seatbelts are part of the seat.... my kid is only 5 months old so I'm not in a huge hurry to start bouncing her through the rocks. Hopefully I get that installed fairly soon.

Greetings to all. Bob here. need some info so I thought I would try to find the answer from the experts. People that own the same rig as you.
I'm New as of today. Have no idea how this all works but I have something I need help with. Trouble with sorting out an area of the wiring harness. Small section of the harness is missing and I need to know what color wire/wires went to the larger white wire from the gray plug on the coil. The coil has 2 plugs, a black one with a pink and a white wire, and a grey plug with a large pink and a large white wire. What wire/s does the white wire on the grey plug join with? Thanks for any accurate help.

I have 2 dogs who are travels in my car all the time, I'm thinking of having one of these vehicular pet carriers so that they will be a lot safer during our travels. What do you think about having one?

No, it is an OEM part from back in the Day, forgot who they were, have to look at the plate on the top. Still have to build the bulkhead, maybe wood or steel. If I use wood it would match my bed

Hey guys been lurking on here for some time an finally decided to start getting more involved.
After just recently retiring from 21 years of service in the Marine Corps, I think I may have more time on my hands.
I am currently on my second k5 first was a short lived 83 that my buddy wanted more than I did
Current one is a 76 with the standard 350/350 np 208
Current plans are to drop in a crate 350 and have the tranny rebuilt by a Local trans shop
an see where the road takes me. I use it as a DD so nothing to crazy as far as build an what not
I look forward to learning and passing on what I have learned
