Welcome to CK5, stop in and say hello, this is a great place to make your first post and tell us a little about yourself/truck. :D
Howdy, new member here from South Texas. New to the diesel 4x4 game. Here to learn as I go along with my project. 1983 Chevy 4X4 K10 6.2.

New member From Lewiston Idaho. Currently fixing up a 79 K10 stepside. Have owned 75 K5 and 77K20 with a few parts from ORD and such...I work as a Chevy Mechanic at the Dealer so there's that too. Was a transmission Builder for 10 years before doing this for the last 7.

Hello all. I own a 1978 K5, 3/4 axles with from I read the dreaded np203. Though, since I have locking hubs or the axle swap it may have the trasnfer case conversion. 37” wheels, the front wheel wells have been shaved for travel.

Ive owned mostly lowered C10’s. This is my first foray into 4x4 and off roading type activities. I’ve had the Blazer roughly 6 months and have done quite a bit so far.

New engine 350 sbc
New exhaust/headers black widow venom250 mufflers
Herculiner the hard top and inside the cab upto the bench.
Dakota digital gauges
Champion 3 row aluminum radiator with Electric fans
New starter
Custom camo rattle can on the tail gate.

It does have some rust but Im not too worried just yet. Most if not all can be fixed.

Anway, hoping to learn about these 4x4’s and get the Blazer dirty out here in Arizona.

Hahahah, anyway, hello!

My instagram is tim_k5blazer

Hi, My name is David and I am an engineer. I am working for Hunter Safety products in the USA where we work on off road seats, harnesses, and automotive parts. I love off road racing and I have a UTV.

Hello all, digging into an '88 k5 here in Washington. Wanted one since I worked as a rag man a Chevy garage back in late 80's. Appreciate any helpful suggestions in future posts on the days that I end up being dumber than a bag of bricks out in the yard.

Ah no worries. Ask questions, and we will do our best to give insightful answers

welcome aboard!

Longtime lurker. I have a 72 Blazer Highlander which has been in paint prison for 3 years and a 72 K20 Suburban which is a bit of a driving project for me. They only made a little over 1,000 3/4 4x4 Suburban’s in 1972. I’ve had a few square body trucks. Sold my 1978 Jimmy earlier in the year and I miss it. On the hunt for a clean 1973-1991 Blazer/Jimmy replacement. Hoping to find something with lower miles and exceptionally clean in close to stock condition. Anyway, looking by forward to contributing to the forum anyway I can. Have been a longtime member over at the 67-72chevytrucks forum.
