Introductions & Greetings

Guys my 91 needs a lot , are there places I can get parts you use I would appreciate any input. A manual would be a real help, thanks
Conrad

Welcome @conrad

Your in luck we have the service manual here online, also electrical schematics.

Start a build thread in driveway builds.
Ask your question in the garage section.

We have some Active FL members so personal on site advice might not be out of the question.

He can still ask questions in the garage

Welcome to CK5, stop in and say hello, this is a great place to make your first post and tell us a little about yourself/truck. :D
I'm Dan from Golden, CO. I have a 1979 K5 that I bought brand new from Burt Chevrolet on South Broadway in 1979. It is all original except the lift and the 454 with custom exhaust. I still have the original 350. It came fully loaded with power windows and door locks plus factory AC but it has a 4 speed manual transmission. First year for the power rear window as well. It was a daily driver for about 10 years before getting new paint and chrome. Now it's a toy and just gets out on certain occasions. Looking forward to checking out all that CK5 has to offer.DSC02090.JPG

That is a good looking piece.
A rarity, as you bought it originally.

I have a few toys or different makes here it is my K20 burb.
But have the typical Havasu toys boat razor dune buggy hot rods( last is a project)

The obvious next question is, WHAT IS THAT BOAT?
It's a 1982 Glastron Carlson. It's called a 'Scimitar'. Glastron only made it for 3 years- '81, '82 and '83. It came in 3 colors. Baby Blue Metalflake, Lime Green Metalflake and the Brown/ Gold Metalflake that I have. I bought it from the original owner in 1993 and have had it ever since. The original owner was a friend of mine and I actually water skied behind it when it was new in 1982 at Horsetooth Reservoir in Fort Collins, CO.
