Well I was there today looking. They are rotted to death. Only two out of the crowd really run and can be driven. They float aswell. But these ones won't. Holes in the floors everywhere. They are bombardier iltis. They have a few nice trailers there. Auction starts tomarrow, so I'll have to check it out. I'll have to let ye know how it goes.

Yep, Bombardia made them for VW under contract (I've heard Fiat also had a hand making some, somewhere). I remember training with the Canadian Army back in the early 90's: I was checking out their Itis, they were eyeballing my HMMWV ("wanna trade?"). They are tiny, which really limits their military use, but they can really wheel!

As I suspected one guy outbid on most of them and has most of them, but a guy in our club got 4. They are not running but I am sure he will get it on the go. Hopefully get it on the trail with us someday. I Will have to take some pics then.
how much $$ did they go for?
It looks like a Jeep, Samurai, and Subaru Brat had an orgie with a Dodge Raider and nobody is sure who the father is because it's got the worst of all three.
