Is it a ZZ4 cam? Or what are the specs?

I have a cam out of a 350/330hp SBC crate motor that a fellow CK5er gave me a few years ago. It has very few miles on it and he even gave me the lifters. A friend told me today that it is the same cam as the ZZ4, but I have no idea if he is right or not. I was thinking of swapping the cam in my 92 Yukon, but if this will work good in there, I'm gonna go ahead and use it. What do you guys think?

Call your GM dealer, and compare no's over the phone /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

nope, the ZZ4 cam is a roller, pn 10185071, and the 330 /350 cam is a hydraulic flat tappet pn 24502476, and is quite a bit tamer.

Opps forgot the specs:
ZZ4, roller dur @.050 208*I, 221*E. Lift .474 I, .510 E
330/350, flat tappet [email protected] 212*I,222*E, lift .435 I .460 E

Thanks! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif My 92 isn't a roller motor, right? I've heard conflicting stories on what exactly came in my 92.

You guys think this cam would be a good cam to throw in my truck? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Your 92 will be roller ready, but you would still need the lifters, the spider assembly and the pushrods. you may need to drill and tap 2 or 3 holes, but all the ones ive seen were already done from the factory. It probably wouldnt be too bad, but seems a little on the high rev side for me.
