So I went and priced my short bed truck, inside bed, over the rails, rocker panels, and fender flares. He quoted me $1400 NOT including UV protectant coat. I bout crapped right there. Im pretty sure I have seen prices like $350 for a short bed and $450 for a long bed. Does 3 inches of bed rail and 6" of rockers and fender flares really cost another $1050??? Im definatly not getting Rhino here... The next town over has super liner, speed liner and scorpion liner as well as another rhino liner dealer.

I mostly had it estimated out of curiosity. But DAMN. The vender on here has al's liner? I think? Whos got that? I need to check into something like that.

DO NOT GET COLOR MATCHED STUFF ! ! ! ! !

saw a truck bed 1 time 1 year old stuff in it. was done red. fadded all out to puck white. thay said thay would fix it. i asked how? new truck box and full paint job with new liner sprayed in box ?

cant fathom how hard it would be to remove that stuff.

Don't get the speed liner, that stuff sucks. We had one of our work trucks sprayed with it. It gets hard and brittle and scratches very easily.

Not that it will help you, but Dad's Dodge 2500 long bed over the rails was $500 for Rhino. He wanted to do it down the sides on the rockers, but they quoted him $450 to do it, and they warned about the fade even with the UV guard. He had the bed done in blue, and when it was first sprayed you couldn't tell that it was there, but after a few years, it is pretty badly faded and the color is off.

Blaze is the vendor here that carries the Al's liner stuff.

Local place wants $500 to do the bed and over the rails of Big Ugly (so 8' box). He's also doing me a favor as he's done a lot of work for me and I've sent him business.

A. They sound like they're on crack.
B. Even the reputable shops have had to raise their prices as pretty much all of the stuff in the liners has gone up in price dramatically in the last 5 years.
C. Sounds like some folks aren't doing the UV stuff correctly. There's a Tahoe in town that is green. The local Rhino Liner guy sprayed the whole thing green for the owner and it's as forest green today as it was several years ago.
D. Definitely find someone else to do it.
E. Ask if they can do your rockers when they are doing some other large project. If the place does big custom work they often have extra material left over and would rather use it up doing smaller stuff like bumpers, hitches, rails, rocker panels, etc etc etc then just not use it and have it go to waste.

I like the speed liner on mine. I did the black 3 years ago, still looks good even in the cargo area where I keep all my tools when wheeling. I did the entire inside, including guage bezel, glove compartment lid, inner fenders and bottom of outside of vehicle, door panels, and grill. I did do the UV liner. Can't tell you how much it cost since it was mixed in the body work / paint price.

The top 2 pics were taken one year ago getting ready for blazer bash.

The speed liner on our truck at work was done June of '07. After just over a year it has chipped just from tools and equipment being in the bed. We don't haul anything really big in the bed. It's an F350 used to tow a 16K trailer 90% of the time.

I've had several people ask me to tear up their Speed Liner and install Scorpion. Everyone just has adhesion problems with it, from what we've heard.

If I was doing all that in Scorpion for you, I would only charge about $550 for all of that stuff.

And most color matches do suck, I saw a competitor's liner once that was a color match for a champagne truck and the liner was dijon mustard yellow.

But with Scorpion there are no worries, guaranteed not to fade and I use automotive paint dye, so it is an exact match. :D
