I'm going to be pulling the smog equipment off of a 1986 Burb 350 and was wondering if when I do that is the carb going to need to be re jetted. Seems I would need to maybe lean it out a bit? :dunno:

Is the carb a CCC? Electronic carb? If so, you're probably going to need a 70's carb without all that crap on it.

Not worried about smog I see.

If you remove EGR, yes you will probably need to re-jet it. I remember doing that on my truck, and it had a pronounced lean surge at cruise afterwards.

X2 on CCC/distributor, etc.

It most likely be run better smog or not with a rejet if you are doing it with the help of a wide band and esp a chassis dyno.
