Is this 350 still good

I think that alternator bracket is a big improvement for a v-belt setup. Makes it easy to tighten the belt.

I haven't read your thread closely enough to know, but if you're using an aftermarket intake that factory style like your blazer may not work. That's the problem I ran into with my C10.

Just an edelbrock duel plane manifold.
 
I never realized there was more than one version of the rams horn manifolds..
The ones on my '72 K5 factory had center dumps with the 3 bolt flanges "straight across"...so did my '67 Impala 283,a '68 Caprice wagon with a 307 I had,and my dad's '68 Chevelle 307 also had the same ones..
But I picked up a 307 V8 awhile back that had rams horns on it,and both sides had an angled outlet pointing back towards the rear,the engine came from a '71 GMC 2wd...
Since then,I've seen others that had one angled outlet on the passenger side,and a straight outlet on the drivers side,on '67-72 GM pickups..
I suppose this was due to different Y pipes being used on a particular chassis ?..
I'm not sure the angled outlet manifolds the 307 has would work if I put the engine in a 73-87 square body,it looks to me like the exhaust pipes would be very close to the motor mounts and the pipes would need a rather sharp short bend to connect to the manifolds..

GM used a few hundred "interchangeable" parts from 1955-1987 on the small blocks...but never believe anyone who tells you "they are all the same"...the differences may be minor,but certain parts wont work in every instance...like the thermostat outlet--if your putting a SBC in a van,the ones from a car or pickup wont work,they'll bolt on,but the outlet points the wrong way...
It's all the small parts like this that makes engine swaps a big PITA...bolting the engine in is actually the easiest part..
Getting all the required brackets ,and other trinkets usually takes several trips to a pick & pull or poking around online to order the ones that'll work for your particular application..
When I swapped a 307 into my '81 G-10 van that had a 250 six originally,I think I spent more time at the junkyard looking for parts than I did working on it,looking for an oil dipstick & tube,thermostat outlet,exhaust manifolds,transmission dipstick and tube,etc....having a whole donor vehicle to pick on is a big plus..
