is this a dana 60?

The problem is that I have no way of getting it home. I'm about 1.5 hrs away. If I had the K5 running would it be possible to tear the dana 60 down and carry it in the back of the K5? I also have a honda but I don't think it would fit even if it were completely torn down. I need tires for my K5. So if I buy 1/2 ton tires then I would need to sell them to get the 1 ton tires. I need to get a truck so I can hull the axels for my K5 build.

or get a small trailer.
great deal.

Gears? Have you called on it? Not enough info to say that's a great deal... Having said that I'm right up the road from graham, would haul it for expenses and a case of Pacifico...

I just called him. It is sold. He had 4.10s in it. Was that a good deal? Thank you for the kind offer mr250twostroke. Maybe I could take you up on this next time.

Were you looking for 4.10's? Sounds reasonable to me. I probably know the person that bought it. When you know what your looking for (gears) and are ready let me know, I can give you some good contacts. Lots of wheelers down here who buy and sell.

I'm not sure what gears I would need. I think the 4.10s are the most common. I would like to run 35s with out fear of breaking an axle. Currently I have the dana44 and the 12 bolt rear. It is all stock 1/2 ton stuff. I have some old school turbine rims that fit a one ton I would like to use. They are the 16.5 rims. After breaking the NP203 I replaced it with a NP205 from a 72 K5.

Dustin, Casey called on it also and it was gone... Odie might have gotten it though...

It was just down the road from me...

I drove from SLC to Boise for a $600 Dana 60 (gas was free and had a place to stay):waytogo:... now there all over for 6-800:doah:

The price was a little high, im eyeballing a complete truck for about the same price. If odie got it, he probably offered $200 :weapon29:

At least I'm not the only one that didn't think it was an amazing deal. Odie's probably in Laughlin or somewhere sunny anyways...:haha:

That is my thoughts also. I would need to get a 14 bolt plus the TH400/ NP205 setup. So in the end it may be cheaper to but a 1 ton parts rig then just the dana60.

btw - Is there any K5 meetups down your way? It seams like there are several of us in the puget sound area on this board.
