Saw this listed on CL,surprised its been up for 22 days and it's still 4 sale..maybe its for an S-10 ,but ad says its a 1/2 ton 1500 trans..?...price isn't bad !..Getrag maybe?

So,those are weak,junk ?...useable behind a 6.2 ?..not that I'd be up to a conversion,just curious...looks like it uses an internal slave cylinder/throwout bearing ?..(which I think sucks!)

The better ones are the newest versions. I had a Getrag in an 88 GMC and aside from being noisy I loved it. The only part that broke was a small pin in the shifter tower. The older versions are external slave on the passenger side, and the newer ones were internal throwout...
