Is this H1 any good?

Could I weld those rings in with a arc welder because that's all I have. I will call usa 6x6 to see about prices, I do know that they offer a CK5 discount. I will be picking up my dana 60/14 bolt combo this weekend and it will not be long until I'm playin' with the 1 ton crowd. So I will need to be getting these wheels ready to go here pretty soon. Also, I just figured out today that some of the tires are full of water  so that is why they were so friggin' heavy! Hopefully they are still good. I just hope it's not like a bad christmas when I go to crack them open.:doah:

Weld your own? Not so much. Even a little off on the centers will cause big problems with your wheels. Some do their own rock rings but centers are very crucial.

As for balancing the latest cheap but good fix is airsoft pellets. The heavy ones (1.2 grams?). IIRC for a 35" tire the suggested weight was 10 to 12 ounces per tire. I think a pound was for 40"? A litte more is better than a little less, IE 14oz in a 35" is better than 8oz in a 35. When you hit your magic weight the rest is just weight.

Easy to put them in beadlocks as well.

I wonder if it would be worth a drive to San Antonio to have them done intead of shipping them to usa 6X6.

definitely worth the drive. if you send them to 6x6 and you wont be getting them back:haha: thats funny, but its pretty much true from what ive heard through the grapevine.:doah:

Well I guess I know where I'll be going the next 4 day weekend I have. This weekend I will be going to denver to get my 1 ton axles :saweet: . I'll post up some more pics when I get them apart.
