fixed my tilt column last night. This guy fell out. I think it goes here. Can anyone confirm?

Spring for the hazard knob? I'm deeper then that in mine at the moment but I didn't see that yet
 
Found that spring today. It goes under the geared part/rod under the lock pin plastic gear. Hard to explain but it's just for tension on the rod as it travels. I'll see if I can find a picture to better explain
 
There's a grey square under the black plastic gear in this picture that's the part that moves on top of the tension spring. I didn't think to take a pic today when I was fitting mine back together
