It’s a Jeep thing.....dang

It’s the front. I’ll throw a rear in here pretty soon. It has the older 35 in it with the thicker axles and no c clips. I figure I’ll run it till I blow it up, but grab an 8.8 and get it ready.

That thing is f-ing nice. There’s a couple of guys on the Comanche group that are building them. Not sure if they are extending the Comanche or back halving a Cherokee.

I don’t how it would work stretching it with the uni-body and all.

Just like a limo, they add a reinforcement frame on the bottom like a rocker that ties it all together

Disconnects make a world of difference on Cherokees and I would imagine those jeep trucks. I just removed the sway bars on my Cherokee I used to have and left them off.

You can see the beastly 3.08 ring and pinon.

So far this thing is really loud. It shakes the whole truck when it unloads.
It should smooth out after a bit.

I’m going to try and and install the front real soon here, and then the extended brake hoses.

I'd a gone with an 8.8 swap in the rear. Stronger axle, pick your gearing and comes with a locker and disc brakes.
I was heading that way on our old ZJ but the Bride she didn't want it anymore. Right after I bought a 6"lift kit for it, naturally...

any updates?
Yeah. I’ve done some stuff. Nothing major though. I’ve been collecting parts and shot, trying to get it more crawly. Some guys at work are planning a rubicon run so I’m trying to get it ready for that. The Peugeot is starting to shit, but ax15’s must be made out of the stuff that cat converters have inside, they’re so f-I got expensive now. I can find 2wd at the boneyard, but no 4wd.

Yeah, an 8.8 or 8.25 is going to happen real soon. Depending on which one I can find a deal on. The problem with a 8.8 is they’re narrower and you have to run spacers on a mj/xj. But I can put 37’s on it and not worry.
