Straight body, minor rust. Could use a paint job. Asking 2,200. or best offer. Trade for running pickup truck, Ranchero or El Camino preferably pre1975 "

Found it on Craigslist...$2200 obo. Gonna offer $2k and see what happens. Some 1 tons, x-over, enough lift to clear 38-40's and a 6.0 swap and I'll be jammin. :saweet:

I miss workin on these trucks...always wanted to get back into one after having to part with my old truggy. It might finally happen. :)

Thats a really good lookin deal. Hope you get it. Hell I got my pickup from a guy in his 50s. Son set up the craigslist add and never checked it. I got an email back with a phone number like 2 weeks later and was like wait? What truck?

I hope so too. I've been lookin for a decent V series truck for a looong time. A couple K30's I found were sold before I could get to them. I looked at the V1500 burbs, but they would take alot of work to get to a point where I'd be sorta happy with it- New trans, new axles etc. This Burb has already got the 4l80e, and electric gauges which make the 6.0 swap easier. It's a good starting point.

Anyone know what rear end these have? The 14b sf or ff?

pretty cool.
what 6.0 engine do you guys swap in? the LQ9? any build threads covering this swap?

LQ9 is what I'd want. Don't really know enough about the different 6.0's to know why I want it though.

I'm still learning myself about this LSX stuff, I do a LOT of reading here- http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/

Specifically, the Conversion Talk section.

lq9 is the higher horsepower and compression 6.0 found in caddy esclades. LY6 aint a bad motor either, theres a guy who sells brand new long blocks for 2500 of the ly6, i think he can do lq4s and lq9s also.

Oh ya, lq4 is the lower power 6.0, ly6 i want to say is the newer 6.0 (like more recently installed in vehicles)

Bleh, I figured that. Just remembered the only the 2wd 'Burbs got the FF's. Well, better than a 10b I guess.

'92 is a totally different truck. There was no factory big block option in the 73-91 4x4 Sub's, thus no 14ff in the 4x4 trucks either. I'm starting to remember all this stuff now that I'm getting back into it. :doah:

sf for sure

Just bought a 91' with 190+ mls. 10blt frt and 14blt sf rear with a small block and a 4L80E. It had a recent tranny rebuild but needs some exhaust to smog. I paid only $1k and $108 for registration! Good luck - they are out there. Hey If ya wanta do some major work I have a 90 2wd with a 454 I'll give ya - It runs with only 80k on the whole truck

SUper clean burb kid, bad ass. Hope you get it.

Thanks for the info. That Sub is now sitting in my driveway.

Just kidding! Here we go again! :D
