Hah! Yours has more miles than mine...neener neener neener...by about 4000...yours is still probably more solid...bet mine leaks more too...
...sigh...
If you go to the www link in my profile you can see what I've done to mine to fit narrow 38's with 1" of lift and cutting.
When I got it the place had put 36x12.5-16.5 HMMWV tires on it on old Dodge 16.5" narrow wheels. They fit with minor trimming but rubbed the drag link. I fixed that by adjusting the steering stops.
You're in luck as the stock 1 ton springs aren't flex monsters so you can fit relatively big tires without a lot of work or big lift since the tires aren't going as high into the bodywork when you flex.
Depending on how you did it you could get 35's on relatively easily.
-Get a set of stock GM 16 x 6 to 7" wheels. Just about any will do, from the originals for that truck up to modern 16" wheels. I have a set of the aluminum 2500HD wheels in my shed waiting for me to do something with them and the steel wheels on it are from a 2007 GMC 1 ton. They all work.
-Pick which 16" 35's you want to run.
Interco makes the Super Swamper SSR in a 35x10.5R16 with a D load range I believe. That width would allow you to run them with little, if any trimming.
A 315/75R16 (35x12.5R16) would require more work as it'd be wider.
-Adjust your steering driver's side steering stop to keep the sidewall off the drag link. This could be just turning the bolt or might require a trip to the hardware store for a longer bolt. Either way it's easy.
-Might be some minor trimming. It's mainly just the lower edges of the front wheel well opening. It's just that part that folds over 90 degrees from the side of the fender and does nothing but hold crap back there.
Got mine out for the first time this year yesterday. Gave it an oil change, took it for a spin, and even got to do a little scouting and wheeling. Got a stereo in yours yet?

I really dont want to trim at all though. Maybe a 1 inch zero rate and some real skinny rims.
