It's nothing new to anyone that keeps up with my views, but for those that don't know, I'm in retirement mode. I work for AT&T and if they ever offer me a VSP, Voluntary Severance Package, I'm gone. I mean completely done. Once I hit my 20th year and met their 75 point system, I have a pension. I'm going to take the lump sum, plus my 401k, and run. The door won't even have enough time to hit me in the butt as I leave.

It's not if that happens, but when it happens. And when it happens, I want to do my own show. As in TV program. I would like to travel and visit each and every one of you that want to be involved. I want to do a one on one interview and show everybody, that is interested, what you have done with your rig from start to where you are with it now. I want to show TV land what it is that keeps us interested in CK5 and the 4x4 world . The addiction, the adrenaline rush, what ever you want to call it.

Not one story is the same. And I know there are a lot of CK5'ers that have left the forum and never returned, for what ever reason. But for those that are still here, how many would like to be on my show? How many would like to tell their story of what they started with, and where you are now?

I mean, look at @Deuling , for example. Remember when he said he would never cut up his rig? Are you kidding me? He has done some awesome things to his rig and now has his own shop and business. I love to read everything he as done since he joined CK5. What a wonderful person. And that goes for everyone here. Including @rdn2blazer. He has to be the toughest person I have had the pleasure of knowing. I have never met you in person, Rob, but I feel like I've known you for ever. You continue to kick cancers butt, regardless how many surgeries you've had. You are truly an inspiration to us all. I have watched and read about the changes in your lives. You are all awesome in one way or another.

I want to show everyone all the vendors that get involved, if they are in for this. And I will make sure that everyone is on board before I put it in writing.

So what do you think? Are you in? Can you handle being on camera and telling your story?

It is still in the early stages, but it is something that I am slowly working on.

I wanna be before Deuling, Ktm and Willomet. Cuz my lige is boring compared to them

Thank you brother! I am down for it. Just let me knw when!

That sounds awesome!
It would be incredibly cool, for you and CK5

I left Pacific Bell 18 years ago at 54, with 35 years.
I still due consulting for them to support my CK5 habit.

I've had a taste of that with skullcrusher making a video on YouTube of my rig and ryans k30 with a short interview. People have recognized the rigs from that video.
I think you have an audience that is ready to soak it up.
People seem to he more interested in the trucks than the owner though lol

I don’t think I would care. I rarely get to talk about my truck as much as I want to. Actually had a guy come by last night that just happened to see it in the garage and was curious. I was ready to break out some chairs and beers and make a night of it. Haha.

I was thinking @obijuank5 would be another great story. Of course the great MAW build too. That one might intimidate people though. This is a great idea. It'd be great for us noobs to learn from too. And one more "great"

Heck yeah man, I'd love to watch stuff like that. Truthfully, i watch just about anything 4 wheeling related but I'd really enjoy a show about real owner built trucks instead of sponsored builds.

The members build base here is so wide, from mild to wild
A network show would focus on wild to keep it interesting
You could mix in some mild to inspire us build fund challenged guys

Interesting, I haven't been here long and my story with trucks only started a few years back but I like the idea!

Yeah I'm not much on the far side, but I think there is interest in how some of us do it on the cheap. That and the network of friends that helped me get mine to where it is now. There are some pretty cool stories there.

I think there is something to be gained from showcasing all levels. Showing off the top tier Fab guys only is much like women's magazines showcasing the thinnest supermodels only. It doesn't jive with reality. Those guys took years to develop the skills they have. Hearing how they got to where they are now is helpful to us lesser skilled, but only showing that level might discourage those that can't perform to that level.

I want to interview everybody. That includes, but not limited to, "No skills, very little skills, some skills, a lot of skills, tons of skills". It makes no difference to me how much you know or how much you spend. I just want to show the viewers what you started with to what you have now. And everything in between, as long as it's legal.

I enjoy watching the different 4x4 shows along with different car shows/builds. They are all different in their own ways, but kind of the same too.

Everyone here has their own story. And they are unique, not the same.

I will continue to work on this and I'll keep you informed on the steps it takes to get there.

I have been diligent about not posting anything that has my face in it, but that cherry gets popped with the filming of the Trail to SEMA show in two weeks.

I’m your huckleberry.
I'm all for it but not enough awesome to follow @Deuling or @AgDieseler or any of the countless other fine folks with skillz...
We all started somewhere, and the idea of showcasing a wide range of builds makes a lot of sense.

My truck is a rolling record of my fabrication life. We can start with some original garbage MIG welds and work forward from there.
