No injection, I'm still running my old Q-Jet. I've used the GMPP spreadbore intake with EGR; got it from gmpartsdirect.com. They also have an intake for TBI. I believe solowookie used Vortec heads on his TBI engine rebuilds; might want to ask him about $$ and details.
the part number for a tbi performer intake from edelbrock is 3704. This is the only intake that will work with your computer if you have TBI. I got it for $216 out of Northern auto parts. Summit, jeggs, and everyone else is about the same price.
Ryan, regarding the shackle flip, I think you hit it right on the head. They are both equally beefy and of quality design. What sold me on the echobit flip is simply price and ease of installation. However, I'm not quite sure that the echobit flip gives any more flex. Not unless you throwing in extended shackles and 57" springs. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
Does Edelbrock sell an intake that can be used with both vortec heads and TBI? Because I'm seriously considering the vortec head upgrade on my 88' K5 in the near future. But I don't want to lose the TBI.
