This was a FACTORY OPTION on the 69cj5. I dont see how this could have worked well at all on the road much less off. Check out those tandem wheels.

It looks compleaty useless to me, first little ditch you try to go trough and it's gonna come off the back of that jeep.

Umm, that just smacks of April Fool's. That it exists at all.

You have any documentation that this is factory, or you just scaring us?

I saw one at a show a few years ago in Logan. I thought it was a one off custom at the time. Didn't know that it was a factory thing. May still be around, although I couldn't tell you where it had been brought in from. The Cache Valley Cruise In draws people from all over the country, something about giving away a complete custom rod each year. Next year is a 68 Dodge Charger, and it looks like it is going to be sweet.

That's about an abortion of a vehicle... Wait.....It is a jeep....So I guess it is an abortion of a vehicle either way.

I found this kool stuf.. weird seeng it on them throw.

Everytime I see those one direction winches it reminds me of the old commercial where they would winch the vehicle up a cliff. The problem was how did they get it back down, that winch only winched in, it was free spool out.

Tab I love your avatar and headline. "I've worked on racecars for 18 years...I'll work circles around ya, I'll wrap your f**ckin' head in with a ratchet! ...so I'll see you tomorrow with my tools, f**ckface!" That's the funniest Jerky Boys phone call EVER!

I've seen a bunch of those trenchers ... knew Jeeps were good for SOMETHING :haha:

And I stand corrected on the originality of the camper. Though it's still nuts!

I can't believe that back in the late 60's, some Mopar exec's actually sat down around a conference table with pictures of that "camper Jeep" and thought to themselves "Hey!! This is a good idea!". Wow.
