Jeep project recommendations

01 wrangler all for under $3k obo.

if you can find an 01 wrangler for under 3k; that is a deal there. i would go with the tj, lots of aftermarket support and fuel injection.

yea, I contacted the lady through email to see if she still has it. I'm suspicious when stuff is listed too cheap.

Oh just go to one of the government auctions and get one of those postal jeeps. An hour with a sawsall and you'll have the topless ride of her dreams. I'm sure she would love it. :D :haha:

the jeep cj's are awesome build projects and real easy for a woman to learn to wheel in.the 70's ones were preety awesome and had the option of a 304 amc.my buddy in the army had one with 33's and a 4 inch spring over lift.the 304 was a pretty grunty motor for as light as that thing was.crap tons of aftermarket parts for them also.still easy to find parts for and i believe came with front and rear dana 44s.so would be a real simple buildup and for 500 bucks can b locked front and rear.1200 for full gears lockers and install kit from randys i think last time i was lookin.

if you could get the 01 for under 3k then i would jump on it. the aftermarket support for the newer jeeps is so extensive. maybe it could double as a DD. that would be a cool option

Find a older cj I had a 81 and it was super easy to drive and work on and parts are very easy to come across. I now have a 06 rubicon and my wife drives a 04 unlimited. Now I need to find a suburban or a k5 for a tow rig for my impala and a hunting vehicle with a lil more room.
