Ok guys. Here is the pictures of my baby. About two years in progress, hoping to have it on the road this spring. I think you will appreciate the custom mounts for the H3 mirrors, and the flamed cowl induction hood. This site has been great, and I figured it was time to share my blazer!!

Some quick stats: 396 BBC with built 700R4. Retrotek push button shifter (soon to come with custom center console) It will have four bucket seats out of a newer chevy with the shoulder belts integrated. 40 gallon fuel tank. Aluminium interior side panels with bed liner material. Four dome lights out of newer chevy, power windows, power door locks, powrer mirrors (H3), heated seats, 7 inch DVD player, 4 inch lift with 33's. Down the road I am going to fuel inject, and repaint. ( I learned alot on this last paint job, and I am not quite happy with the final product.

Like the color.... is that a factory orange or something else?

It looks like it's mostly together already, what major parts are keeping you from driving it now?

:usaflag:

I am basically waiting for this years tax return. I dont want to drive it until it is complete. So I still need to buy two more bucket seats, carpet, various small parts, windshield, new driveline. Basically I am about $1000 short of finishing it. It is also going to be a "road princess", so I would not be driving it on Central Oregon's nasty winter roads.

Also Greg, the color is not stock. I wanted a brighter orange. I cant recall the name of it now, but I will take a look and let you know.

Just to much time and money. It will be a daily driver though. I cant wait to get her going!!

Great mix of parts & mods.

Got a link to the retro push button shifter set up, I'm running a 700r too and that sounds interesting.

Welcome to the board.

It is a very cool shifter! Its spendy, but I think it will be worth it. You can also upgrade to paddle shifters within the steering wheel, but I doubt I will do that.

Does anyone have any tips for the best way to align the front clip on these bad boys? I just cant seem to get things to fit right, and was wondering if anyone has any ideas?

Dont be afraid to elongate the bolt holes to get a bit more adjustment out of them, How are your door gaps? I would start there and work your way forward.

Ok, here is another question that I hate to ask but I guess I have to. The brown wire that comes from the gas tank sending unit and comes through the firewall. Where the hell does it connect? Also, I cannot find the wire that connects to the high beam indicator?
