Jeffs project

Update: I am centered!!

:bow:UPDATE: center console is in!! future plans include a clock, transmission temp gauge, and two 12volt ports in the center face. I have a lock on the way for the "cubby" hole that holds the ipod. Other than a few bugs (see battery woes thread), I am close to completion!!!

ALL LOOKS GOOD. ON THE SPEAKERS IN THE console HOW DO THEY SOUND, IS THERE GOOD ARI SPACE FOR SOUND. AND WHAT PIECE DID YOU USE TO ROUT THE AIR/HEAT. IF YOU DON'T MIND ME ASKING. I WAS THINKING OF DOING SOMETHING CLOSE TO THAT, FOR MY CENTER console. VERY NICE BUILD. THANKS FOR ANY INFO

Great looking truck!! One question...how do the passengers get to the rear seats? I also added late model seats and the front passenger seat does not tilt forward due to the height of the seat back.

Thanks...Rick

I built an adaptor from tin and JB weld that slips over the heater duct to the floor. I then have heater duct work that goes from there to the directional vents. The sound from the console is good. I was very set on not cutting holes in my doors, so I went for the console. I am happy with the sound, even though the console is very "busy" inside, as I have a ton of after market wiring.

My plan is to manufacture a "beefy" seat release for the front passenger seat. As of right now, I just have my kids crawl through the back. It is not optimal, but remember, I dont hardly drive this truck other than for fun!!

Well, it seems this truck is hell bent on screwing with me. I bought a new tranny for the rig, and when it came time to drive it, hardly at all, there is no 3rd or 4th gear!!? Talked to the tranny guy, and I have to send it back to him. When I dropped the pan, it was even worse than I thought it would be. Obviously something went wrong when it was put together. Anyway, the guy sounds like he will honor it, and fix it, just have to send to California!!

Sorry to hear about the tranny. Thanks for your knowledge, what part of ca. If its close and there anything i can do to help i would be glad to if needed. I'm in riverside. Let me know

Full of clutch material, almost a burned type material, which doesnt make since, as the rig was hardly drove??
