1) I'll need to WILL my membership to someone and hopefully, through their obligations, they post whatever pics may exist. :)

2) That picture is friggen crazy. hahaha

Well when I go tmine it was actually good time but the friend who got it in a package deal with a carmangia he wanted and then inherited his dads boat, just wanted to get rid of it, so he made me a great deal. I paid $2500 cash.
It's an older boat: 19' wriedt boat 1970 vintage. Looks exactly like this one:

What the heck can you do with a boat like that except go down a river or lake fast?

They produce very little wake. Can you ski behind them? I always see these boats out on the river just a little tiny wave and they are flooded. These guys have to keep these boats moving to keep the water out.

Different stokes for different folks I guess but a boat like that would be worthless for me.

yeah, fock all that..... :haha: I'm a pavement guy, too many uncontrollable variables with water.. zombie mermaids and such..... :zombie15:

I mean it's cool, I respect it, the toys are cool, it's just not my bag.. I'll take Englishtown.... :D

I rarely see hotrods like that being at the shore.. occasionally on the highway headed out to Pennsy lakes I guess..

I've been over a hundred in a 36' Skater, but not close to the speeds ThunderUS run's.. need that guys name... :doah: :haha:

Watched it dyno'ed

485 tq @ 3300rpm (avg 461)

415 hp @ 4800rpm (avg 349)

EGT avg 1150 F*
BSFC avg .506 (not sure what this is, but I guess it's tuned right:dunno:)

lost 20 HP going to a different, though better working, carb. Also changed to a Comp 270 hydrolic over the previously installed solid lifter cam. Also pulled some compression out of it. I think it was originally ~9.8 and now it's 9.5. Had to buy new valve covers, with an angle on the sides, to clear the boat headers. That's another $250 :doah: Originals wouldn't clear rockers.

Dunno if I could have done better, but the deal is done with all paperwork and the motor is currently being put into the boat. Will have video and a report ~Aug 27. :D

:woot:
