Cool i plan on doing the same. Im getting excited. I still have a lot on my plate but i think i can do it.
Busy weekend ahead and I may take another day off if needed to button some stuff up.
I had every intention of going up there with you guys but unfortunately I was in an accident last thurs and I am out of work and pretty jacked up. Bunch of x rays and an mri later hopefully will be feeling better soon.
The trail definitely isn't what it used to be but depending on what line you take in little sluice it got a little more gnarly. Some "unnamed" people moved a few rocks and pushed a few down the hill from what I saw last time I Was up there

Are we still planning on camping at loon lake? I heard it would be a good idea hit the trail friday, maybe camp at spider lake?

Sounds good! either way works for me but k85 is coming late so I want to make sure he gets there since he's doing a long haul. I also dont have rocklights so id be in the dark lol.

No known events and ive been doing some feeling around and it seems like it wont be too bad. just the usual traffic and regulars. im super excited. I need to smash a champagne bottle on the truck for its maiden voyage.

Thanks for posting this! I just talked to a friend and we might try to go up early Friday and do Wentworth to loon and camp out with everyone Friday afternoon

I wish! It's on my list for next year. I recently moved to northern Oregon, and making the trip just isn't going to work out for me this year.
