June Rubicon Trip (more pics)

I had every intention of going up there with you guys but unfortunately I was in an accident last thurs and I am out of work and pretty jacked up. Bunch of x rays and an mri later hopefully will be feeling better soon.

The trail definitely isn't what it used to be but depending on what line you take in little sluice it got a little more gnarly. Some "unnamed" people moved a few rocks and pushed a few down the hill from what I saw last time I Was up there

lol, soooooooo who's the trail leader?
Anyone else outside of CK5 going for sure?
If we make it we should have a toyota friend with us

Performance of the rig will dictate what I'll be doing.

this^ depending on how the rig is doing, just because we have to drive back and be at work monday morning.

Are we still planning on camping at loon lake? I heard it would be a good idea hit the trail friday, maybe camp at spider lake?

Sorry to hear about the accident Chris, hope you have a speedy recovery. Little sluice might be a challenge after all.

Doesn't matter to me but it sounds like some will be getting to loon pretty late? I should be there by noon Friday.

Loon sounds good, I heard it could be pretty busy. I'm getting pretty excited to go

No known events and ive been doing some feeling around and it seems like it wont be too bad. just the usual traffic and regulars. im super excited. I need to smash a champagne bottle on the truck for its maiden voyage.

I read your thread a couple times Colby, thanks for sharing again. I'm really doubting my choice not to install the hydro before this trip though :doah:

This sounds like way too much fun. If I was closer, I would be all in for sure.

In a few years when the kids are older, I will be hitting you guys up to do some CA wheelin.:thumb:

Don't worry, there was this dude that commented on a video on YouTube that said hydro assist is stupid, a bad idea, for rookie drivers, and the weak.

Lol
