(Junkyard crawl) Found a Factory oil cooler, new Parker lines.

I don't know if you posted somewhere else, but you have me curious. Would you tell us what you are building? The engine sounds cool! More information please!

Both! What is the whole package? You have to remember that CK5 is for truck addicts!

176k on my Suburban with stock oil cooler lines that have been out at least once that I know of and no leaks.

Build thread huh, well I guess I could. It's not much, just an old chevy.

I guess I will have to get some photos scanned into the interweb.
Anyone know how I could go about scanning some 17 yr old photos into the computer? I don't have a scanner at home.

That's what started this forum was 'just an old Chevy' ! But you have mentioned aluminum heads, 406, FAST EFI, 1 tons, and towing, I be curious!

Well, I didn't think anyone cared. I wasn't really welcomed real well when i drank alittle and asked a stupid question. But I guess since you guys are now asking I will, it will be a week or so before I can get to it. But how about a few pics for you to tide you over. Yes, I cropped them some. can't give away my hand. One thing to know is that its not a blazer or sub, you'll figure it out.

Well I hope the past has been fixed and forgiven. I hope I didn't say something out of line.

But that looks cool! I see a late model 14 bolt. So does that has discs, correct?

And is it 4 door?

Well see that proves that I am not high tech enough to notice those that quickly. I looked how smooth they look and the fact they only had 2 valve reliefs. Looks cool to me!

I would guess most people wouldn't guess they are real deal forged pistons, might be why I said so... Woo dog can't say I get tired of lookin' at that pic. I just want to touch it. (Yep that just happened)

That is flippin' funny as h**l!!!

Stopped by the paker store after work, had them fit new lines. Got some abrasion resistant lines.

Specs.

Working temp - up to 3000psi.
Working Temp - -40f through 302f.
Hose Inner Tube Material - Synthetic rubber
Material - Hose Reinforcement - One fiber and one steel braid
Material - Cover Fiber braid

I think this will be fine for a little ol' oil cooler.
Looks like I am cookin' with oil now!

A little clean up and some new o rings and I'll be set.

Should outlast the next 10 trucks you install it on.. :D

I use their "tough cover" stuff for most of the hydraulic lines on the mixer trucks at work. Works well for that. Yea, I think you are set.

Case anyone doesn't know what a hoe looks like..... I meant hose...
