junkyard seats??

I had a set in my 91 blazer that were out of an early 90s eclipse. The brackets were the same width, but the front to back bracket length was different so I made some. Fit really well and were adjustable all around including lumbar support, and I am even considering making a large frame to put some into my cucv. I think I paid $40 for them.

You wouldn't happen to have any pics of what you did?

Heated, wipe off, hold you in well...

My buddy had an Acura with those seats in it. Held you pretty well but I found them to be uncomfortable as all hell if I sat in them for more than a half hour. Just my .02.

Another option is a set of seats from a late 80's Toyota SR5 truck or 4Runner. The DLX model seats suck but the SR5 model seats are very supportive, and you can turn a knob to adjust the width of the kidney support deals. Loosen them up for everyday driving, get into a hairy trail and turn the knob a couple of times and they clamp down.

I got mine from a Toyota 4-Runner. Had to make my own brackets. They are holding up pretty good so far. I ain't fell out yet!!!

If it counts for anything my buddy liked them a lot, but I'm 6'5" tall and 250 lbs...so riding in that car wasn't fun even if I'd have had a lazyboy for a passenger seat.

I think I'm just used to truck seats that have more padding in them. I'd run them and see how ya like them, they definitely hold ya in there pretty well.
