Just a few opinions

Being from MN, with the mud that you have available, and the amount of snow that can come around in the winter, I would suggest two sets of tires.

Pick what you want for trail tires, and get a reasonable AT type tire for the DD duties and snow. This way both will last longer, and you will get better performance in each situation. Tough to find a tire that does everything good while giving a useful DD life....

OK, it wasn't called that, but if you're committed to using a bias-ply tire for offroad performance AND you're willing to put up with the lumpy ride each morning while they warm up.....AND you are willing to spend some extra $$$ to get them "trued"....you might be pleasantly surprised at how nice they can be on the street.

I had suspected I could improve the ride of my 39" TSLs (bias ply) with a little "tough love"....today I got them trued by a local shop and I'm in love with these tires again. They've always been good on the trails, but punishing everywhere else.....

As far as tires, I really like my bfg at tas 35x12.5, they are quiet, and ride nice, they are great in the snow, I havent had them in any real mud so I cant speak for that.
They are great on dirt trails and roads /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm buying 33X12.50 cheapy AT's for my winter/somw tires, and some 35X12.50 BFG MT's for my summer fun. Although it may seem like you're spending more, you actually should get around three years out of the muds that way, and four out of the AT's. Saves you dough...
