just a quick question

The model designation changed from K5 to V10. I think it was for the 89 model year. Your title says V10 also, probably. I was wondering the same thing back when I got mine. It's a 91.

Ya see, we are not really K5 owners. We are V10 owners, but the good people here, let it slip.

CV10!!!!!!!!! just doesn't feel the same as CK5!!!!!!!!!!

My '88 K5 was a V-10. I believe that is the first year of the "R" & "V" series. When Chevy came out w/ the new body style trucks in '88 they were C & K. They kept the older box style K5, Subs & Crew Cabs in prodution & changed their name to R for 2wd & V for 4wd.

Hell maybe it is '87-'91, really not that big of a deal anyhow, still the same truck.

HAHA This was the first question I asked when I got mine I think. But mines a K10.
So its CKV10 not just CV
