So after doing a lot of research on Chassis Saver, POR-15 and the like I decided to go with CS. It took about 3 days after work (maybe 8 or 10 hours total) to sand, grind and otherwise prep from the firewall to the ledge behind the backseat footwells. Me and a few friends brushed it on, 3 coats total with about an hour cure in between.
It's a pretty heavy mixture and if I were to brush again I would have thinned it down a little more, but the coverage is awesome. I also recommend foam brushes as I used both a foam and bristled and the bristled had a tougher time due to the heaviness of the mixture...aside from that it left a few bristles and more obvious brush marks. (This ain't a show car anyway.)
They mention in the instructions to keep the coats thin as it has a tendency to bubble if it's too thick while it cures and they really do mean it. I thought I was putting it on thin but it did bubble slightly in a few places...there's really only so much you can do with a brush anyway.
Overall, this stuff is awesome...I've got to hand it to the guys over at Magnet Paints. We'll have to see how it holds up but I have faith. I can't confirm whether or not it is UV stable as the brochure says it is just fine as a top coat but later mentions that it may change color with exposure although the material won't break down. It doesn't dry hard so it stays flexible which is noticeable when you drop something or hit the floor...it sort of dampens the impact, although there are by no means any sound deadening (road noise, etc) properties.
I'll try to get pics as soon as I can.
