A dually 14 bolt/Dana 60 axle set will work in my Blazer, but the axles are wider, so I'd have to get wheels with a lot of positive offset.

And spring perches are different, so I'd have to cut the old ones off and weld new ones.

Am I on the right track?

I know most people run the hummer beadlocks because the offset is way out there. That obviously narrows the amount of tires you can run...

Not sure the spring perches would be any different. My k5 has a dually 60 up front and it bolted right in.

OK cool! Thanks!

How so? Shouldn't the offset put the tires back where they need to be? Or do you mean that the width of the hummer rims limit tire selection?

Youre right i meant to say they. The hummer rims are 16.5" in diameter. They will put the tire in the right area due to the 7" back spacing.

I was originally going to do this but i machined my DRW hubs to SRW. Mostly because i wanted 17's and hummer rims would run me $400.

A front 60 will bolt in.

A rear axle from a 1 ton will need to have the spring perches and shock mounts moved to fit a K5.

If the dually 14 bolt is from a square body it will be NARROWER than an SRW axle as these are from a cab & chassis. A dually PICK UP originally with a bed will have an extra wide D70HD.

Oh wow, that's good to know!

If it's narrower, then it probably won't be useful, eh? Unless i got wheel spacers.

My bro put dually 1 ton axles on his k5 useing d70hd rear with h1 wheels and it sits good. Rear could use a 1/2" spacer. But can't even notice

IMO, not useful. It's still a strong axle but being more narrow than an SRW axle would make it waaay more narrow than a dually front 60.

I've got a truck with a C&C (Cab and Chassis) 14bolt in it and a dually D60 up front. The rear is narrower but it's really not that bad. We have since changed the front hubs from DRW to SRW.

I don't have any pics with the SRW hubs on, but could get some if you'd like to see how the tires line up with each other.
