I found this air fuel ratio gauge, I really like it and its possibilities that it can bring out, does anyone else run anything like this on an obd-1 system? 1989 tbi 350 stock for now, but will be modified by the fall, will probably do a complete teardown and upgrade next year.

I'm not sure about that one but I'll give you some tips about them.

Anything from Inovate is good stuff so you started with a great company. Moates has great tech support so your good there too!

I have the LC-1 and then hooked it up to a gauge. With the LC1 you don't need another bung welded in the exhaust as it will act as a narrow band O2 sensor for your ECM and a Wide Band sensor for your tuning to a gauge. You can't just hook a wideband O2 into a factory ECM, without radical changes and not all are capable. So if the one you like can do both good deal. If not look at the LC1 and then pick a gauge for it. HTH

I won't install this until I have the headers and the exhaust installed. One of many problems is where do I install the new bung? I would like to fab up a center console then mount the engine management equipment in it along with mounting a laptop for tunerpro rt and other reasons as well..

With headers the O2 bung goes into the collector or some collector have them installed.

I am going to modify car headers to my truck and will place it probably 3-4" from the end of the header in the top, if I can access the O2 sensor when it is installled

Mount it right in the collector that bolts to the header if you can. Pointed up, not down. Look at the picture in the link.
