Mounted the Speaker for my Siren today. It is covering the Radiator a Little. Just want to make sure none of you think it will cause any Heating Issues.

There is about 2" behind it and the Radiator/Tranny Cooler.

Looks like the worst spot is the top left corner covers about 3" of it:

Why don't you mount it on the inside of the fender, opening facing the grill, instead of in front of the radiator?

Yea it's big. Took forever trying to figure out a good mounting place for it.

250 watts, it's loud as hell, is designed to mount inside the bumper of a crown vic troopers car, has to be powerful enough to project sound at interstate speeds. Ended up winning this one one evilbay for 32 bucks, after my last one gave out. shouldnt be any problem people hearing me coming.

Couldn't mount it there, to many other things in the way until I reorganize my engine bay, also gets better range not trapped in the closed compartment echoing in there. Also the way I have this mounted any water introduced into it should drain right back out.

I will be upgrading to the wind star fan setup, just didn't want any cooling issues till then.

I dont foresee the 3 inches it covers creating an issue. Just wanted to see what everyone else's opinion was.

@beast, again mounted in the engine bay would make one hell of an echo and limit the effectiveness of the speaker.
