ebay Just Wow!

i call bull sh!t

look at the fenders up at the winshield area .

the A-piller section is turned so far out . this in my years of these trucks is cheep asin sourced fenders .

I have a original gm body in my garage that fit better than these do and 1 fender is a gem replacement I got and put on it .

look at the fresh undercoat trail up the right fender at the front bumper turn signal area .

right rear tail light area . body trim mid tailgate area . the end looks like it has over spray on the end tip from a bad tap / cover job .

and if so original / clean were is the underside pics ? ? ?

What a gorgeous rig. The story is bunk IMO, and I've seen the same story on eBay many times. Agree with Brett, bowtie on grill is aftermarket too. the 350 on the grill is way too bright also. mis-matched screw on the steel panel under the steering column. Check the oxidization on the edges of the emblems, 40 years in a garage and they should be unmarked and un-pitted.

Nobody buys a K5, then brings it home and mothballs it. Ever.

I recently bought a car that had been in a garage for 47 years. It was driven for 9 years first though, and the reason it ended up in a garage was due to a wreck. Solid yes, and perfect for my wants...and the story makes sense. This K5's story makes no sense.

$37,500? That's more than I paid for my 2012 Silverado CC Z-71 brand new off the lot... Why no pictures of all the documentation, the build sheet, or the rest of the interior? Or like mentioned before, the underside of the truck? That dash bezel and vinyl floor look like they might be replacements.
Something just seems off/odd about this truck...

The price did get bid up to $510.00 before it ended. I'd guess it's worth 3 times that, but not much more. Too many blatant lies. The paint bubble by the tailgate handle (among other blemishes) makes the paint job look cheap.

I emailed the guy and he said it sold early. Didn't say what he got, but indicated it was close to the Buy it now.

Sure is pretty though.

Best "garaged" story I've seen and actually believe is a 67-72 chevy long bed with 8 miles on it IIRC. Just recently put back on the road this past year. May have seen it over on 67-72forum. Looked legit and the story was decent.
