K30 crew cab SRW diesel

Ok, I know this is asking for the world (on this board) but I would really like to have a k30 Crew Cab SRW with a good running diesel in it.

I know something like that would be like gold on this board.... and I can't pay with gold.

Really, if I could actually find what I'm looking for, I would like to pay what KBB.com or NADA.com would say it's worth.



I know, I'm asking for a lot, but I might as well ask. right?

I saw one on eBay, a GMC or Chevy, can't remember. It was a '78 model year I think. Pretty decent condition, too.

Can't be a 78, it won't have a diesel. Unless the guy transplanted one in.
82 is the first year for the 6.2 and I doubt they had any 5.7 diesel in a crew cab.

I check Ebay almost everyday and I didn't see that one. About a month ago, there was two of what I wanted on there, but one had a bad engine and the other a bad transmission and lots of rust.

Checked it earlier today and realized it was a gas engined truck. Oh well, sorry about that.

Ok, not exactly what you want, but close. I have a 1982 K30 that had a 6.2. It blew up, and I have a complete 6.5 TD setup for it. Also have a 1989 Suburban Silverado for doors, interior, and updated front clip. Asking $3000 for the whole thing.

there is a crew cab down the road from me for sale. hes askin $6k tho, body isnt perfect either
