K30 with a 6.2

The 540s make like 640+ but they are Fing expensive maybe I will build a geniv with a holley XP, in gold of course. And those grain truck tranny's aren't perfect but they are like 14s, cheap and tough as nails. plus I have a ranger.

Just an FYI I am 99% sure Ruby could beat about any stock gas truck in the drunk farmer class. Plus half of the early diesels.

just a reminder my K30 with a no compression, tiny cammed, peanut port 454 that quit at 4000 was one of my favorite truck engines, it would boil the 37s and would bury the 37s. In bummer deep snow it would pull 3rd low wide open.

Real work test doesn't show the same as the raylar website. Plus I think that 625hp or whatever they show.... im sure is with their heads and cam. I didn't see that advertised?

Raylar 4.75 crank kit is 3200... thats a fair chunk of change for a raylar sticker on the back window.
Let's face it when it come 8.1 stuff, raylar is the only game in town. And we all know they are very proud.
It doesn't make sense to me. But whatever works for you.

Closest one is going to get.

I was more looking at the Dart dual plane with a 1000 cfm throttle body and 4.5 stroke crank. Even with minimal work to the heads it should make diesel torque. Thinking Holley EFI management.

Seems that everyone swapping these has some sort of wiring problems. I don't get it.
Yep, and I am not the one to throw $650 out to a company that seems to have these same issues anyways. Baby steps, but we'll get there.

I will likely go Holey terminator X. Cam, intake porting, mild head clean up, forged pistons, good headers, should be an easy 550hp 600+ftlbs. Then I can add E85 and or a small dry kit.
