K35 front lift

[ QUOTE ]

You clearly have a poor command of the English language.
I never stated that GM classified my truck as a 2 ton.
I never made any statement about the meaning of GAWR.
Notice how you have to lie about what I said to make a point.
Notice how without the lie, you have no point.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't see why you continue to say people are lying to make a point. I'll agree that you never stated that GM designated your truck with a 2 ton rating, you did.

You said it here,
[ QUOTE ]
I'd like to get about 2" more in the front springs-what's the easiest way to do this? I was thinking perhaps just add another 3rd leaf to the pack. It's a 2 ton, so it's already too stiff to worry about articulation issues. I know I could use an add-a-leaf, but I'd like to add a bit of travel rather than just height and tire clearance.

... and later implied it here,
[ QUOTE ]
Call it what you like. I know a ton is 2000lbs, and I got three of them in the back.

[/ QUOTE ]

I normally wouldn't care one way or the other about something like this but you continue to want to argue about this based on the fact that you never literally typed that GM designated it 2 ton. Regardless of all else, you stated it was a 2 ton... that's it... you can't deny that... period. We simply tried to point out the error (note: without calling saying you were a dumb___ , unlike what some boards would have said to you) and you got offended. There is no conspiracy here that's out to get you so stop acting like it. The next time you bring up credibility here, remember you started the name calling first. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

In the end, this whole arguement is about your poor command of your ability to read a sticker in front of you.

DUH!!! Had to make things worse for yourself, huh? What a cock knocker! John (nvrenuf) makes a strong and valid point with his above quotes, you moronic idiot!!! If I were you, I would go throw myself into oncoming traffic and hope for the best of a headlight-to-eye confrontation with a semi-truck that has a GAWR of 1 million tons. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

"...when you insisted to the parts company that your truck was a 2 ton."
See, this is a perfect example of how flames cascade.
I never said that. You're attributing to me your own misreading of the assertions of others. I'm not bucking anyone, they're throwing their credibility upon their own swords, playing off each other rather than read what I actually wrote and asking for clarification. *IF* I buy parts, I tell them it's a K3500. Whether I call it 1 or 2 or 1.359 ton has nothing to do with fitment. I guess sarcasm isn't anyone's strong suit around here. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif
