When cruising on the road it's fine and even in smooth dirt. But when I'm on washboard roads obviously the trucks shakes. With that said my truck is noisy inside, outside all sides, however.

Today while driving on the same road I usually do it is even more wash boarded out than usual and the 203 shifters where banging around hitting the hole they come through. It's already tight as is as I did not cut a very big hole for them poke through.

All those bolts down there are tight and unmoved after about 30-40 miles on this very road or I missed some to look at.

So, question how much movement is normal for this area going around 15-25mph, TCase area for the shifters. I will attach a video and maybe you can see? Tire pressure is at about 35ish and yes I forgot to disengage the front sway bar, not sure if that matters. I will add I got up to about 60mph and it seemed a waaaay smoother drive. But I can't maintain that speed on this road as it's heavily trafficked area.

A pic of some of the washboard though this is not even close to the worst of it.

What kind of engine/tcase bushings are you running and the condition of them?
Wash board is going to shake everything regardless.

Regular clamshell rubber motor mounts that are new. 350/th350/203. The rubber Tcase bushing is new as well.

I know those roads will make everything shake. I was just wondering if there is cause for concern from the video I posted.

When you are sitting still how much play is there in the shifters?

Can’t see the video (non-member) but are you sure it’s the t-case lever shaking or could it be the cab shaking?
What’s the condition of the body mounts?

Hadn't considered that but yes the body mounts are cracked and 40+ years old.

But to me in this case, watching the video the shifters are moving

Google wave and or spring washer select one that is same id as your shifter bolts od thus should help eliminate some of the shaking
Hahahaha what? But it only happens on washboard roads not on smooth surfaces

I don't want this to spiral into unnecessary parts buying. Hahahah but ill get the washers as they're cheap enough.
As far as the videos concerned do I need to worry about that shifter movement, and or is it the movement related to something else?

The shifters are solid when moving them at a stand still.

Where do I instal them?

The through bolt that the stick pivot on. If there’s slack there the wave washers will tighten that up without making the through bolt so tight the sticks don’t want to move.

This one in yellow or the one where the shifter connects to the linkage?
